The customer, a global automotive giant needed high availability Infrastructure that could be accessed by its suppliers and dealers across the world. The customer’s greatest challenge was to have services up and running across all geographies in the shortest possible time, in case of a disaster. To meet these requirements, Sify provided a totally redundant architecture at the primary site at Sify IDC Mumbai and a scaled down hot site at the disaster recovery site (Sify IDC Chennai). Switch and Fiber ports were designed to be redundant in each server. Even in case of a disaster a scaled down version of the infrastructure was available at the DR site where all the servers were kept ready.
