The state-of-the-art data centre at Airoli - a result of our unmatched technical & operational expertise gained over the years is Sify’s fourth Tier III facility.

Sify currently has 4 operational data centres in Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai.

The data centre geared to handle highly dense computing devices provides very high power availability. Compliance to multiple industry renowned standards & guidelines are few of the many unique features that make this data centre the best in India today.

1.1 Building Structure

• The data centre spanning 1,00,000 Sq ft is housed in a newly constructed structure spread across multiple floors built as per latest industry norms
  
  
• The data centre complies with the TIA- 942 (Telecommunications Industry Association) standard for structural design, network, cabling etc
  
  
• The premise adheres to the IS 1893:1984 standard for earthquake resistant structural design
  
  
• The utility area and supporting rooms account for more than 100% of the server farm area ensuring better operational & security controls
  
  
• The data centre floor has high load bearing capacity, thus ascertaining support to high density server & storage devices

1.2 Power Set up

Primary power is amply backed by secondary supply through dedicated diesel generator sets. The data centre provides very high uptime on power through its highly redundant & robust power infrastructure.

• Two dedicated power feeders are available for the building. Each feeder is capable of handling the entire building load



• UPS redundancy is 2(N+1)
